The 24th Croatian majorettes championship took place in Glina on 11th and 12th of September. It gathered over 800 majorettes from all around Croatia, which competed in total of 30 formations, 25 non-formations and over 150 youngest participants competed in their program called First and Higher step.
Parade march at the opening ceremony was led by Sveta Jana majorettes as defending national champions and was followed by a competition of the youngest participants in the First and Higher step, where Sveta Jana majorettes won total of 14 medals.
In the formation part of the championship all of the teams achieved excellent results: cadets formation won 2nd place and title of National vice-champions, juniors won 3rd place and bronze medal while the seniors won their third consecutive gold medal and defended their title of Croatian national champions!
After extremely successful season this year Sveta Jana majorettes enroll new members throughout September. You can join them every Saturday at 10 a.m. and every Wednesday at 7 p.m. in front of elementary School “Ljubo Babić”.
