The story of the Sveta Jana majorettes began exactly 25 years ago, and few remember how it actually began. Back in 1998, among the green hills of Sveta Jana, an idea was born. How Mr. Nikola Ivčec came up with that idea is perhaps no longer important, what is much more important for us is that the idea came to life. Supported by the enthusiasm of a handful, it has survived to this day. Over the years, the idea grew, took on and changed shape many times, traveled miles, pushed boundaries and ultimately became a wonderful, successful and special story.
And last weekend, the Sveta Jana majorettes shared that story with all the visitors, as well as with the dear majorette ensembles that came to support us in celebrating our great jubilee. Thus, in the wonderful environment of Erdody park, all the members of our association were joined by numerous majorettes from Klinča Selo, Pisarovina, Stupnik, Bjelovar, Karlovac, Sesvete, Glina, Krašić, and the Zadar majorettes brought us a touch of the sea atmosphere. We couldn’t imagine the celebration any other way, with plenty of dancing, laughter, socializing with dear people and unforgettable memories. Everything that makes every birthday the most special day of the year.
At the end of each story, it was the time to thank those who supported us not only in the birthday celebration, but who have been with us for many years. All those who faithfully read, give suggestions and support so that our authors do not lose inspiration. First of all, it is our girls, their families who follow and support us, the tireless Executive Board of the association as well as our coaches. We should also mention the sponsors and institutions, without whose help nothing would be possible. There are a lot of you, but the most loyal ones are remembered, and the girls were supported jet again by the Association of Cultural and Artistic Associations of the town of Jastrebarsko, the Sports Association of the town of Jastrebarsko, as well as the
Town of Jastrebarsko, which loves and supports its majorettes all these years.
